Holy shit I did it. 0.503 releases.

HolyshitIdidn'tthinkIcouldgetthisweek'sreleaseoutthisweekIdon'tbelieveIfinishedit.
I spent the weekend at a friend's house. So I couldn't do any work. Before that I'd done a bit of bug fixing, that's it. So when I got home on monday night, I had to do a mad crunch to get all of the fight with Regan written up. And then the two other major players for the Pudding Games LoL team were online. So we spent an hour getting qualified for Twisted Treeline. We're silver, for anyone who cares. Anyway, point is I wrote the majority of the fight scene in one night, and touched it up today ready for release. It's not quite finished, but it's playable. Needs a little more polish next week.

  1. Dota2 is a superior game to LoL in every way. If you require a copy I would be willing to give you one. (Also the girls are cute as a button.)

    1. Counter point: Dota2 requires skill. I do not have skill.

    2. I do not have any skill ether. We may be awful dota 2 player together.

  2. I can't agree with the Dota2 arguments, imo numbers don't lie and lol has the vast majority when it comes to numbers. Anyway are the issues from last weeks upload fixed as well in this?

    1. Numbers as in the numbers of players my friend. And yes the number of people playing LoL is far grater than the number of Dota 2 players but the fact is that Dota 2 is much more mechanically complex. Things like stacking and puling, items with actual visible effects such as teleports or invisibility, denying or terrain such as trees or lakes that effect the gameplay. I find dota 2 to be more enjoyable because the characters all fill unique roles not just standard range carry, support, tank, melee carry, juggler things but unique stuff like stealing spells from other heros or hunting down heros with tracking or trowing a giant fucking pirate ship ghost. This rant has become far to long. I apologize.

    2. I unfortunately haven't played Dota2, so I can't argue whether one is more mechanically complex than the other, however this does bring us to the important question of all games:
Which is more important, mechanical complexity? Or pure fun?

Plus LoL champs, while filling general niches, all do have unique attributes that make them uniquely good at a certain thing. While lower level play ignores that, it's entirely possible to just throw out niches, and create plans or teams around the capacities of individual champs.

ANYWAY. Yes Triune, some of the issues from last weeks release have been fixed. Neki was so lovely as to send me her save file today, so I could experience the glitch first hand with my nifty little debug tools and found where the problem was.

  3. Is submitting to Lucy supposed to give the same scene after the meeting with the mistresses as submitting to Lucy and Alison?
Because, currently she threatens you with the non existent video of you pledging yourself to them.

I'd been hoping for the relationship with Lucy to develop in a friends with benefits/"you dom me when I need to blow of some steam" fashion.

    1. It's supposed to for now. It's likely going to change in the future. When I wrote that the clock was ticking and I had a looming release. As you can see this week I haven't had a lot of wiggle room either. Hopefully this will be patched up soon enough. Hopefully. I might just change the content of the submitting to Lucy, or remove it as a possibility. I'm not 100% certain on what I'm doing yet. But hey, that's Pudding Games in a nutshell right there.

    1. A map has been made, but never posted up on the blog. Would you mind if I take this one and put it up on the guide sometime?
